The garden is divided into several areas offering variety to stimulate and relax the senses. The Maison de Maitre and Maison de Maitresse each overlook a lawn area full of established trees including oak, cherry, birch, a judas tree, pampas grass, and hibiscus.

A variety of sitting areas with gazebos and sun umbrellas allow the visitor to enjoy different vistas, enhanced by the quality of light for which this region is renowned. Statues and water features add to the interest and tranquility of this rural retreat.

The orchard area with apple, pear, plum, walnut, fig and cherry offers a more natural setting from which to view the surrounding fields of sunflowers and maize.

The garden offers many discrete hide-aways for those who wish to find a quiet corner in which to read, paint or simply soak up the sun. There are also shared areas of lawn for people to enjoy each others company, or a game of boules.

Each gite is equipped with its own barbeque to enjoy outside eating during the long summer evenings. Sipping a cool glass of wine, watching the sunset and seeing the martens swoop and skim around the garden – what better way to unwind from the stress of urban living?
